Marissa Markiewicz

    Hello,

My name is Marissa Markiewicz, and I am so excited for this school year! I graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School and Hunterdon County Polytech. While at Polytech, I was the president of an organization called FCCLA. This organization is for students in family and consumer sciences and education in public and private schools.  This began to promote personal growth and leadership development through teaching young children. I competed in multiple competitions, along with creating plans of community service, leaderships events and bonding activities. I attended Raritan Valley Community College to study P-5 education with a minor of special education. During the time of attending RVCC I began teaching at Hunterdon County Polytech as there preschool teacher. Instructing high school students to work with younger ages, while grading and guiding their lessons each day.
Throughout my life I have always been a dancer. I have through the years been choreographing and sharing my love for dance with our upcoming generations. Recently I have became the Director of Prestige Dance Academy. My studio works with children ages three to eighteen. I create pieces for our competition program along with making our recreational program as successful as it can be. Truly working with children in all aspects of life brings joy to my eyes. Watching children succeed in their passions is what makes my job rewarding.

I am so pleased to be working with all of your children this year, becoming a teacher and giving the gift of education to your children. I look forward to an amazing year and meeting all of you.
